The challengeSyndiora was born with a single, powerful conviction — that every woman deserves to adorn a real diamond, ethically sourced, sustainably made, and exquisitely crafted. As the brand that pioneered the B2B lab-grown diamond trade in India and went on to create the consumer category from the ground up, Syndiora did not enter the market. It built both sides of it. From supplying the industry before the industry knew what lab-grown diamonds were, to earning the distinction of Government of India recognition and becoming the country's most trusted name in conscious luxury, Syndiora has set every benchmark the market now follows. As the brand scaled from a category-defining pioneer into India's most recognised lab-grown diamond destination, featured in Vogue, Grazia, and Femina, and trusted by customers across India and the world, its digital platform needed to grow with the weight of that leadership. The legacy Laravel infrastructure that had served Syndiora's early years had accumulated significant technical debt, limiting the pace at which the team could launch collections, update content, and deliver the premium experience their customers deserved. The platform could not support the customisation depth, consultative selling model, or education-first approach that defines the Syndiora difference. Syndiora approached BRAD TECHNOLOGY to migrate the entire platform to Shopify, redesign the digital experience from the ground up, and build two capabilities that had never existed on the site. A dedicated Learn section empowering customers to make informed, confident purchase decisions, and a native Book an Appointment feature to bring the Syndiora expert consultation experience into the digital journey. The migration from Laravel to Shopify was executed as a structured programme with full data integrity preservation across Syndiora's product catalogue, customer records, and order history. BRAD TECHNOLOGY conducted a complete technical audit of the existing architecture, mapped all URL structures and SEO equity, and designed the migration pathway to deliver zero visible downtime to Syndiora's customers. The new Shopify infrastructure was built from day one for extensibility, eliminating the dependency on bespoke code for every collection launch, every campaign pivot, and every commercial change the growing brand demands.
The UI/UX redesign began with a deep understanding of who Syndiora is. India's pioneer B2B lab-grown diamond brand, the Government of India recognised and award-winning name that created the consumer category and has been featured in Vogue, Grazia, and Femina. The resulting design system established a premium visual language with purposeful whitespace, high-resolution jewellery presentation, and a typographic hierarchy built for trust at every scroll depth. Every component was developed as a reusable Shopify section, enabling the Syndiora team to build and test new pages independently. The build achieved a First Contentful Paint under four seconds, because a brand that built an industry from scratch demands a storefront that loads as beautifully as it looks.
The Learn section was engineered as a structured education hub, because buying a lab-grown diamond is a considered decision, and Syndiora's customers deserve to understand exactly what they are investing in. The section covers how lab-grown diamonds are made, the Four C's, Diamond Analysis, Shapes, Care, Myths and Facts, and in-depth guides on Platinum jewellery, Rose Cut diamonds, CNC craftsmanship, and Lab-Grown Polki. Every page is built to inform before it sells, breaking through the dark myths that have long surrounded diamond ownership and giving every customer the confidence to choose with clarity. As the brand that educated both the trade and the consumer about lab-grown diamonds in India, this section is not merely a content feature. It is a continuation of Syndiora's founding mission. Built with SEO discoverability at its core, the section uses semantic content structuring, internal linking to relevant collections, and schema markup to ensure Syndiora is found by every customer at the moment they begin their diamond journey.
The Book an Appointment feature was designed as a first-class experience capability, because Syndiora's promise has always been that their experts will assist every customer in choosing an exquisite jewellery piece. The feature is integrated natively into the Shopify storefront, surfacing at the moment of highest intent within the discovery journey. It supports walk-in appointments at Syndiora's Mumbai flagship, virtual consultations for customers across India and internationally, and bespoke design enquiries through the Syndiora Bespoke House. Automated confirmations, calendar management, and CRM-ready data capture were all built into the initial launch, creating a consultative commerce channel at scale, delivering the personalised Syndiora experience to every customer, wherever they are.
