Chunmun is a leading retail brand specialising in the Fashion, lifestyle and home and accessories. The brand owns the 11 MBO stores across North india
We worked in collaboration with CnM's founders to design and develop Magento 2.4, a feature-rich platform with a global market-leading user experience and high end functionality
CnM quickly outgrew their previous agency as the fastest-growing leading retail brand, and they needed a new partner with strong technical skills to support their growth acceleration strategies. To design a new server infrastructure to manage high loads of traffic brought on by promotional marketing campaigns and flash sales, they relied on the expertise of Brad.A middleware that transmitted order and user location data from CodeIgniter to their ERP, Ginesys, was supported by CnM's prior single-server design (a resource planning software for multi-warehouse management). According to the user's location, the ERP then conducted inventory checks. The problem was that during traffic peaks, this configuration was prone to crashing. In the event that their server failed, there was no "back up plan." CnM was concerned that their website might go down during the busiest season of the year

The solution
During the holiday season, when CnM regularly experiences traffic spikes of 20%–30% above their daily averages, Brad experts' contributions have proven to be crucial. We completely overhauled their aws-server environment, adding an AWS load balancer that used three servers to strategically balance the API requests—two for order data and location data, and one for back office functionality (reporting, inventory management, warehouse management, shipping information, etc.). We migrated data from CodeIgniter to Magento 2.0 and built a high-rich ecommerce website, and CnM already had a brand guideline that was created with in-store experience. This served as the foundation from which Brad experts created a digital framework to specify button designs, badge options, font selections, and colors
The Results
The new architecture that Brad experts developed is inherently safer and can accommodate 35–60 times more traffic for API and webhook calls at any given time (compared to 5-6x with their previous setup). The team at CnM can now start marketing campaigns without restriction and be certain that their website won't collapse during periods of high traffic.
